this song is an older one from 2017 that has always had a soft little breakfast nook of a spot in my heart. such a nice lil vibe and is a bit of a romantic getaway inside a two-minute song. i remember being ecstatic at how the ocean sounds i added into the background brought the song to life and made it feel realer.

"PRETTY RICKY" is a song that i've had on my hard drive for a couple years now that i have yet to officially release due to life circumstances and trying to complete the web2 version with perfect feature verse. this song has been a favorite among the many friends (more than usual) that i've sent this song to just to get feedback on, probably due to the WILD things that i say on it. it's pretty entertaining and meme-y, but i definitely wanted to highlight toxic male-horniness (what not to do) while also trying to destigmatize the word "slut" via stressing that men are often sluttier than women by men's standards. this version of the song will not be released anywhere but here. truly a 1 of 1!

LOKI

My second official release as a solo artist in 2022, "HOTMAIL" is a sexy, romantic and playful "Bay to L.A." situationship-anthem. This one has always been fun to work on to me since I started the original demo in 2019, and carries a lot of personal anecdotes inside of it. It's 808 and synth heavy, it's a lot of crooning but somehow still kinda danceable/rideable, which are all things I definitely prefer in my music.

This thing is produced by combat tools, features my brother DRE?WHO on vocals with me, and has some gorgeous additional production by my other brother Hokage Simon. (both of these blokes are also from the Bay Area like I am...we fasho got something special happening in the Bay)

"PEACH AND BOWSER" is my first official release this year! It's a lovely, sensual lo-fi hiphop banger that I've had on me for a while that needed time to get right and find the perfect opportunity to release. It features an incredible singer from Singapore named Shye, who blessed this track with her luscious vocals a couple years before she got big. Now she's a rising star and I couldn't be more proud of her and lucky to have gotten her on this track early.
