The extra WAVs of Breathing Tides will only be delivered to the first owner. Perspective was written during the same season as my last EP, Breathing Tides. After a long, difficult year, I wanted to try and process everything through a collection of recordings. What came out was an hour or so of very quiet, peaceful ambient music; rather than express the anxiety and depression that I felt so strongly during 2020, I feel like these songs expressed some hopeful optimism. A truly refreshing feeling. I wanted to keep the official release short (it's only three songs), knowing that I had a LP coming out later in the year. This left me with several unreleased tracks. I'm so happy that this song can be shared here on Catalog, as this community has given me an optimism about the future of music that I haven't experienced in quite some time.
