TWO YEARS IN THE MAKING

Grid Lines is our most revised track to date, two years in the making. Six different versions until we settled on what you hear now. The song started off in 2020 as a 9 minute instrumental. It was our first attempt at making something trance/progressive oriented and to be quiet frank, we loved it. The only issue was, the track didn’t really have much life to it at the time.

It wasn’t until our friend from the artist group Last Heroes joined us in the studio that the track got its legs. We chipped away at it and created new version after new version until we reached something we were really proud of. Our most favorite track to date and, one of our most favorite to perform live. It was a testament to who we had become, not just as songwriters, but as people.

Throughout the track we kept the elements of progressive house and trance, allowing it to breath when it called for it rather than rush it into something compact and digestible simply for the sake of commercial success. A slow emotive build of tension minute after minute, second after second, until it finally releases into a smooth club rhythm. The section in the middle is arguably the height of the track with layers and layers of vocals and little backing production. Our friend and collaborator Mellavora said it quite well,

“This is when the heavens open and a voice from above speaks directly to your soul.”

THE MUSIC VIDEO

It’s difficult to describe what making this video felt like. It was one of those moments where while creating it we were seeing ourselves grow in real time. We sat down with our long time collaborator and friend Hudson Ratzlaff to 3D render the video. We knew we wanted to create something otherworldly without being too disconnected from reality.

"Create the surreal from the real.”

This was our motto throughout the entire creative process and we are thrilled with how this manifested. Below you can see the “abandoned laboratory” vision we had. Wires strewn from rubbled pillars, all leading to a center door with a mysterious light emanating from it.

What was this an area for? Where is this? Why are these jelly fish still inhabiting the space, dancing around it in an almost ritualistic way? These are the things we asked ourselves and leaned into as we brought to life what was in our minds.

ANXIETY

The biggest obstacle to achieving anything is often your own mind. You say you can’t move somewhere, leave or create a relationship, get the dream job or business - simply because you create excuses. In reality, these excuses are all stemmed in fear, doubt and not realizing whether you truly want something. The worst of this is when you let anxieties of a situation you can’t control get the best of you.

‘Sink’ is about overcoming these anxieties. The ones that keep you up at night and cause your emotions to do your thinking for you. It’s important to realize at the end of the day, all we can do is do our best. If we go in and leave nothing on the table, we can look back at the end of the day and realize there was nothing more that could have been done. We did it all. From here begins the reduction of anxiety.

Day by day, we do what we can to chip away at what keeps us awake at night. Eventually, we pass a critical threshold where our actions have done much more work than the voices of doubt in our head. Eventually, those voices get quieter and quieter because we learn to ignore them. Eventually, we move on.

A friend of ours once told us “Anxiety is energy with nowhere to go”. With that in mind, why not take that energy and put it into something. We both have found tremendous solace in our personal lives by doing rather than by planning and thinking. By putting our hands and mind to work, we found a sense of serenity.

This is ‘Sink’ from us to you.

THE MUSIC VIDEO

Creating this music video was a new experience for everyone involved. Sometimes, those are the best ways to spend time; allowing yourself the freedom to explore and try new things.

Hudson Ratzlaff was the mastermind behind all of the 3D rendering, and together we created a world that reflects the emotions of ‘Sink’. A world that is seemingly magnificent and desolate at the same time. The views and camera motions instilling a sense of grandeur.

Sink

Our first 1/1 collectible.

"I Found God" is the track that started it all for us. The new chapter and direction we're headed in. Dark, house oriented, melodic, dance - the most authentic version of ourselves yet. 

The song is about a person on a journey of self discovery. They leave behind false realities in the search of a greater truth. A desire to fulfill their curiosity of what lies at the end of the path they've chosen to take. It is something that many of us can relate to.

With the funds we raise, we will place back into the track to ensure its success. The split is as follows:
