At this point we had already started the Water in the Ocean demo a month prior and this were slowly starting to take shape - trippy vocals and guitars w rap drums, this much we knew but were still figuring out the right balance of the two. Still continuing on the idea of fully diving into fuzing the energy of rap drums and indie vibes, this one came about from us both listening to a ton of Tame Impala and me being influenced by the wave Lil Pump and Smokepurpp had that was taking over. Big Bucks by Smokepurpp had just come out and I wanted to combine something with the bounce of those drums and that energy/tempo but with trippy vocals and guitars This Lé Vie project was my first tour and brought me to playing my first music festival (Nos Alive) in Portugal. When it ended, that was what propelled me into focusing on being a solo artist.
