The trio teams up with Afro-Colombian producer DJ Crisboy, Nigerian producer Davidace, and Colombian Latin Grammy award-winning violinist La Lulu to create the perfect anthem for those entering their bad bitch era. The afrobeat tune carries instruments such as bass, drums, keyboard, percussion, violin, flute, and synths, along with the sister’s powerhouse vocals. “Patience” is perhaps an ironic title since the song’s catchphrase is “No patience for you.” It feels reminiscent of throwback songs like “No Scrubs,” where young women are unapologetically ambitious and outspoken and don’t let themselves get taken for granted. It’s about empowerment and saying, “look, I’m in charge.”
