Something that you would always hear at the local cookouts, school parties, or random car speakers speeding down the block. From the 120-150 bpm, it's fusion of house music and hip hop, booming bass, and its ability to sample one of your favorite songs and adding that hometown sound (grabbing inspo from Baltimore/Chicago house & Miami Bass) . This underground sound was created in Newark, NJ in the late 90s-early 2000s and has made it's way all around the world even playing a huge role in the mainstream sound today.
