A remix of my father's early work from the 1980s. Programmed in Renoise. Part of a collection titled "Canciones de mi padre que han sido completamente deconstruido y vuelto a montar" ✴︎ Este pieza se deriva enteramente de las muestras tomadas de los primeros grabaciónes de Jorge Gamboa Patrón realizadas durante la década de 1980: ‘Fantasma’ y ‘Perfiles’. Las canciones han sido mezclados entre sí para crear nuevas formas y fusiones salvajes. Habiendo crecido con esta música, me encontré haciendo estos deconstrucciones / reconstrucciones a ser un proceso de redescubrimiento; remodelación y remodelar algo muy familiar y cercano en algo totalmente desconocido y lejano. ✴︎ This piece is derived entirely from samples taken from Jorge Gamboa Patrón's early records made during the 1980s: ‘Fantasma’, and ‘Perfiles’. The songs have been intermixed with each other to create wild new forms and fusions. Having grown up with this music, I found making these deconstructions/reconstructions to be a process of rediscovery; reshaping and remolding something very familiar and close into something entirely unfamiliar and far away.
