Florescence is the third and final track off of Bloom. 

While creating the Bloom EP, I wanted a song that made myself and the listeners feel empowered but also lend the feeling that it's OK to leave the past in the past and be welcomed in the present. As the name suggests, Florescence is the process of flowering. Life is a sine wave filled with peaks and troughs. This feeling of life and prosperity may not last forever, but we enjoy the feeling of warmth when we can.  Much like The Shadow, this is *also* beginning of our journey.

With Morning I attempted to bring a feeling of hope and light at the end of the tunnel. This is where the flower see's the sun for the first time as winter slowly fades away into spring. The warmth of the sun has finally shown itself and it's time to wake up. Good morning.

Named after the famous art piece created by Japanese artist Hokusai. Fine Wind, Clear Morning was created in 2014, and even though the inspiration for this track is unknown - the memories are still carried through the air as I listen back to this.

Hopefully those who listen may feel the same way one day.

Made in 2014, the title track Donut Dream was created during a time where my music was in its infancy. During this period I was jobless, dropped out of school and had no direction. I hold this track very closely as it's a reminder of how quickly life can change. The name Donut Dream was inspired from J Dilla's "Donuts."

Bells ring out from the Townmaster's Hall, calling villagers to fire service as smoke plumes up and fire sparked with tinges of neon colors arise from the remains of the Sleeping Giant. The two remaining red-cloaked patrons stand off to the side attempting to comforting Grista, who stares silent daggers at anyone in the party who'd dare look over.
As the sounds shouting voices and sloshing buckets near where you stand--recovering and reflecting--more sparks shoot off from the ruins like fireworks as the Nothic's tome is engulfed in the conflagration, for a moment a hazy, dark cloud with darts off the blaze into the sky with a sound like a dying breath, intermingling with the hazy red and black aurora of the Axebitter's cauldron.

This is the very first track I created during the 100 day beat challenge. 

A few days prior to making this, I met another producer on SoundCloud named stosu. He and I shared dumb samples to use and eventually inspired the 100 day beat challenge using all the different samples we found.

This track is not only a favorite of mine, but one that carries memories and connection, as stosu and I have been (IRL!) friends  5+ years now and it all started from music, ideas, collaboration, and passion to do something different.

Bet was created in 2015 and is one of the first tracks I ever released. 

Inspired at the time by artists such as Noer the Boy, Sophie, Tsuruda, and Noisia, "bet" was the start of a new direction for myself as an artist and led the groundwork for the bass music which came after it.

Bet became track #2 off of the 20 song album known as NOISE TAPES, released on  March 22, 2018.

This is the first track off of my first LP "Hyperion" from 2020. The premise of the record was to sculpt a collection of songs where I focused on using vocal chops as both a lead and rhythmic element. In order to keep some sonic continuity throughout the record, every synth on here is from a single device using dozens and dozens of customized patches I made.

This song is loaded with laser sounds, collaged vocal chops, jumpy basslines, and shakers I sculpted out of little salt packets. So much of this song is about making due with what you have. I had this one synth I really liked, a bunch of royalty free vocal samples, and a field recorder to make percs with stuff around my house. I loved the idea of seeing just how much stuff I could make with such a limited number of resources. You don't always need tons of equipment and plugins and such to make lots of music, sometimes maximizing what you already have yields the best results. Ideas are ubiquitous - you can find them anywhere at any time.

There's a very limited amount of vinyl remaining for this album, and they include a folded 24" x 24" poster of the cover art. I will be sending a signed copy to the buyer of this song. Please contact me on twitter @cumulus_frisbee so I can get your contact info.

I wanted to show my progression and evolution as an artist giving you some more insights on how my sound changed over the years.

- I will book an airbnb in Venice for 2 nights
