Upon revisiting the Ableton session,  I removed all the parts my ex added and titled the song based on the current popular internet meme floating around at the time... "This could be us, but..." The version you are hearing now, is not the original version used on the "First Light" compilation or the digital version of "Traversal" but is the version I created for the Cassette release of Traversal, where I fixed some slight timing issues of few chops that no one but me would likely even notice and traded off having crispy dynamics for a more glued together sound. and thus, "This Could Be Us" was born...
