If you look very closely in the cover art you can see me watching the Catalog 1/1 presser setting sail on the horizon. It wouldn't be right without dropping one final track on the platform where it all started for me. A deep techy track that always gets the dance-floor moving which will only exist as a 1/1.

Hey Now (Original Mix)

In 2018 I attended Toolroom Academy where we went through weekly calls for 12 weeks covering different areas of music production. I'd learned so much in this course and still use the techniques learned to this day. It changed the way I make music for the better and increased the quality. This is the track I wrote during the course and great to share it on Catalog.

No More

There was a period in time when a pine martin made it's way into the roof of my house. I was sitting in the studio and had started a new track when I could something rustling above me. Another early track of mine while I was exploring and finding my sound. I tried a new pitch technique with the Novation Launch Control XL and this track was born while the pine martin shuffled away above me dancing to the beat.

Pine Martin Shuffle

This is a special track for me and leaves me a bit vulnerable but I feel it's something I need to get out there. 

I lost my grand father back in January and I wrote this on the morning he passed, knowing what was around the corner. In the moment it started as an ambient track and I recorded a story I can remember from my childhood. I've been working on it since and finally finished, ready to share. 

He was an amazing carpenter and this is what he loved to do, create art out of nothing. The cover image of this track is a horse he has carved. It felt only right to upload this as a 1/1 on Catalog for his art to live on as he was one of a kind. 

Art is meant to be shared and evoke emotion, Remember is very close to my heart and I hope you enjoy.

Remember

Morning Mist was an early track of mine and was the first time I received support from another DJ playing my music. Scuba picked up this track and played it in his SCB Radio Episode 85.

This was a special moment for me in my journey and now you can own a part of that. Receiving support from Scuba at this point was very motivating and a signal I was going down the right path. Deep and Hypnotic Techno vibes.

Morning Mist

Cairngorm Avenue was written on a bus driving through the Scottish Cairngorm mountains. I remember driving through the mountains feeling inspired and wanted to write a track with a spacey and simple feel. 

Cairngorm Avenue was released back in 2018 as part of the Gibbon Records Arboreal Summer, Vol. IV. After speaking to the label about Blockchain and Music NFTs they are happy for me to mint this track.

Cairngorm Avenue (Original Mix)

Icy Path was my 3rd song ever released officially and debut track with Gibbon Records, signed to the Arboreal Summer, Vol. III release in 2017. After speaking with the label they are happy for me to release this song on the blockchain. 

The song contains a field recording of me walking through rough terrain on the edge Scottish Loch in winter, when I looked back I could see the Icy Path I had left behind. 

Hope you enjoy this track and happy collecting for one of my first ever songs released officially. It's great to listen back to this and see how my sound has progressed over the years.

No Salt, More Pepper (Original Mix)

Melona was written in the summer of 2022 and is the B side to Deep Connect which I released as an edition mint. This track has not been released anywhere yet and is a Catalog exclusive. I wanted to write something more melodic but also high energy. Main synth line was recorded on a Moog Mother 32 in one take. 

It will hit Web2 in 2023 but Web3 hears it first. I've been DJ'ing with this track and it always cooks on the dance-floor. I hope you enjoy it and happy collecting.

I'm really proud of this song, it's stripped back but infectious at the same time. The synths in the break catch you by surprise with the vocal telling a story. Great to bring this to Catalog and happy collecting 🎧

'This Is' a peak time techno track with deep synths and driving percussion. Written with a warehouse and lasers in mind I hope you enjoy it. 

Written back in 2019, this 130bpm always works on the dance-floor and was my favourite track of the year released.

This record was written during Covid Lockdown in the UK with the clubs returning in mind. 

I was missing DJing in front of a crowd and this style of hypnotic techno always makes people groove. 

This was one of the first tracks I started using my own vocals in too.

Lakers Trance was written when I was experimenting with different styles with a view of finding my 'sound'. As soon as I had written this with the dubby chords and textures, I knew I'd found the right style of music I wanted to make.
